the main reason I chose these is the pocket. I do not have to keep opening them up to grab the onion, garlic or potato. Pretty sturdy and love the fact I get 5 of them.

These work great for storing things like garlic, onions and potatoes that I grow in my garden. I hang them in my cool garage and they last a long time stored like this.

I bought these because I had grown so much garlic this year and needed a way to store them. I also use them to store my onions. It's so easy to pull the garlic and onions right out of the bottom through the handy little opening at the bottom of the bag. There's an opening with a sturdy velcro strap that keeps it closed. Also nice that I can hang them in my pantry or garage and not take up counter space.

I love these! they’re a smaller size but still plenty roomy for potatoes, onions, etc. nice access through side slot. and a BARGAIN !

Bought these to store my potatoes and onions. I have a large 6-shelf wire storage rack (also bought on Amazon!) in my kitchen as my pantry, and found that trying to keep said produce in the original mesh bags they're sold in didn't provide enough air circulation to keep them fresh. I hang these bags by hooks on the shelves and so far no problems! I knew they were small - it takes two to store a 5 lb bag of potatoes, one for 3 lbs of onions - but this works well for me. The bags are easy to access, appear to be well-made, and are of a reasonable price.

I was tired of knotting nylon stockings to give my onions some airflow as getting them out was a nightmare. I love these bags. The banding and stitching is very sturdy and I think it will hold up over time. I was a bit skeptical about the velcro closures on the side, but I am glad I trusted the reviews and it does make it easier to get an onion out while the bag is hanging. I can get 6 to 7 onions in the bag, which really is plenty and since I have 5 bags, no problem. Would highly recommend these bags.
