Air Vent Wire Mesh Screen
20 Mesh per inches, 1mm hole, it's able to keep the tiny bugs mosquitos wasps insect spiders out.Wire diameter 0.4mm, strong enough to prevent mice rodents birds and so on. The open area is 51%, allowing the water to go through easily and hardly restricting air flow at all.

These are wonderful. I have 6 drains in my backyard that I didn’t want leaves going into. If you look closely at the photos you will see these screens. My shower in my bathroom also needed a screen to prevent hair from going into the drain. These screens are stiff and sit on a ridge just inside the drain caps. I used cheap scissors to cut the screens after making a pattern from paper. I traced the paper onto the screen with a black marker for a perfect fit. This was a short very effective project. Especially when I finally found the perfect product to get the job done correctly.

Despite how it's advertised, you do need a special pair of metal cutters to cut this the way you want. I suppose, in theory, you could use a normal pair of scissors if you were really tenacious and didn't mind a messy cut, but I'm not either of those.

The thickness and strength of these sheets are great. I used these and cut them to fit on my floor hvac registers so my kids would not be able to throw anything down into the ductwork anymore. Easy to cut and fit to size. You can barely notice the mesh through the floor vents

All in all this worked for what I needed it to do. very pleased with that. However I found this is not easy to cut as indicated in their picture. Stainless never is. I also found that the weave would come apart at times while cutting. Not real easy to work with.

Pefect size for my garage vents to keep out animals. And so far, they are working like a charm. Since the builder put the old screen in that have failed after many years, they are not in a frame but in the concrete. So I used Gorilla tape to secure them on the inside and it worked!
