I love these little crochet rings bc it helps with the tension and the yarn stays in place. I would buy these again when the time comes.

Only thing is when you are working quickly that it tends to slide out of place

These rings are cute and functional. Better than any of the fancier tension rings I have tried. Wash to adjust and holds my yarn tight!

This metal Ring is not for me. It’s hard to adjust, to make it smaller. Once I did adjust it smaller, I maneuvered the yarn onto the ring as instructed but it kept slipping loose. So, I went to YouTube and searched “how to adjust crochet yarn tension” and it brought up a slew of videos. I found the video for the ring but still couldn’t use it. I reverted back to the “wrap the yarn around the index finger” and of course it works. The Ring may work for you but not for me.Score: Ring 0, Wrapping Index Finger 10

Is due to user error. I've tried SOOoooO many times to use crochet rings, in many forms. I just cannot get my tension to be where it needs to be, which is probably because I am so used to crocheting without and have done so for a few years at this point. When you learn one way and it's muscle memory.... It's hard to break. But let's get to the rings themselves. Honestly? They're cute. I would wear them even if I didn't crochet. The metal itself is a bit thicker than some of the other rings I have tried, which results in a sturdiness that feels higher quality. Even though the rings are sturdy and able to keep their shape with ease, they are able to be adjusted to whatever your ring size or preferred positioning is.If you are wanting to give crochet rings a try, I would definitely recommend these. At just $2 a piece, you can't beat it!

I have carpal tunnel, which prevents me from crocheting as often as I would like, so I've been trying to find ways to change that. I heard of crochet rings and figured I'd give them a try. At first, I tried a ring with a different design, but I wasn't too thrilled with them. I liked this design, so I figured it would be worth a shot. This design works well for me. The material is decent. I like that this is a set with several colors, so you can mix it up with what you use. They seem bigger in person than on the items page, but that may be because I have long, skinny fingers. You can adjust the rings a little bit by pushing/squeezing them. The yarn threads easily through them. As long as you're used to the feel of yarn against/around your finger, this will be fine. It did take me a while to stop holding my finger out quite so far, though I did still have to hold my finger out a little. So far, these have been a big help in getting me to be able to crochet more. I will definitely use these a lot.

I’ve tried a lot of crochet rings, the peacock, octopus, the one with interchangeable yarn hooks, and I’ve hated all of them. This ring is the only one I’ve been able to work with. It was definitely a learning curve, and I’ve only used it with worsted weight so far, but it’s great! I think it’s because it has multiple places to guide the yarn, and they’re big. Will I only crochet if I have this? No. But this is a super nice option. Plus it’s really cute when not in use.
