By adding these thimbles to my anchor line chafing has been eliminated and I should not lose another anchor due worn line attached to the anchor. Great product!

What I liked was: they were exactly what I had hoped to find. Good weight. Good finish. I am building a kayak roof top carrier and using these thimbles in a 4-point ‘hold down’ plan.

Better suited for 1/4 inch wire rope. I don't like to risk crimping/near crimping of wire rope. I'd like them to be at least 50% bigger to better spread out rope stresses. I'm keeping them- but will never use them for 3/8 wire rope!

This arrived as stated and appear to be of good quality. Only time will tell if they hold up under water as stainless steal should.
