This formula never really dried all the way and stayed sticky days later.

I have severe anxiety, depression, and cptsd. I've been picking my skin around my fingers and on my lips since I was a kid because of it and it's gotten worse as I get older. These picky pads are actually really great for keeping me from picking at skin and it's satisfying hearing the crack when you loosen the silicone for the first time. I've found I'm partial to the larger beads which this set comes with as opposed to others I have got premade that were a mix of big and very tiny ones.Making them is pretty simple, the instructions are on the box. The only issue I had was that the measurements just say it's a 1 to 1 mix, which is pretty standard for mixing silicone or resin or any similar medium. They should have stated how much to mix up per set though because unless you've done this a few times, it's hard to just estimate how much of the silicone you will need for one or both of the molds. I ended up mixing too much and it was obviously wasted since I didn't have another mold or even anything disposable that I could have used in that manner (even the cup I used to mix it is a reusable plastic I had laying around.).I also set a timer while mixing because you have to mix consistently for 3 minutes. Despite doing that, the part facing the bottom of the mold came out tacky. There are solutions for cleaning up tacky silicone online if that does happen so it's not a total loss. As a bonus, the set comes with string so you can make bracelets or whatever out of the beads you pick out of the pad.

My 7 year old enjoyed making this . She was able to mix and pour everything herself.

My daughter had been asking for a picky pad so I thought for Christmas I’d do one better and get her this picky pad diy kit. While the idea was great, the product was a complete waste. She attempted to make her first pad and after several days of it not drying we tossed it and went to make another. I helped her the second time bc maybe she made a mistake the first time. Nope, the second time was no better. The pad would not solidify. My daughter was feeling so crazed by it she put it in the freezer to get it to harden. While I knew that wouldn’t work the way she was hoping, I thought it would at least harden like an ice brick but when I took it out of the freezer days later, the top was still sticky (think glue or thick hair gel). Save your time and frustration, don’t get this.

Very nice and pretty looking but too sticky. I’ve tried letting the silicone in the mold for two days to see if it was just not drying well, but it still was very sticky. I’ve also tried to take the picky pad out and let it dry out in the open but it’s still sticky. It is not usable because of the stickiness and the mold is not easy to wash. Had to throw out everything. The silicone left a weird feeling to the mold, it is reusable but not clean. Maybe I used too much A or B in the mixing but I definitely won’t be buying again.

Didn’t have high expectation, but the boys ended up liking it a lot. It comes with clear instructions and everything in the box - glue, beads, mould, stirring sticks and string. They made a bracelet for each other
