These pouches cinch up pretty well, and the drawstrings have a plastic gold bead at each end with a really fat knot holding them onto the ends. I do feel like the cords are thin though and I hope they don't break. The lining is really well sewn with no loose fraying anywhere. The top closes tightly so that nothing inside could fall out, I just wrap the cords around the top to make sure of that. I'm impressed with the construction of these bags. The only thing I don't love is the material. It feels like a polyester, but is shiny and the gold in the material is not the most metallic. The material is not the sturdiest however, and it's the kind that if anything catches a thread, it will pull and loop out and break. If I could give these pouches a 4.75 rating, I would. Otherwise, great!
