1st day I got it used it to sand a earlyn1900s if not late 1800s pin and cove dovetail drawered dresser I'd been scaping and stripping off and on for several years. One of those rainy day projects I stumbled across in st paul some years back. Finally got the urge to get the remainder paintoff of it and said it and stain seal and varnish it. I used the 6" da off and on for the top sides andb3 drawers leaning on it fairly good with 80grit and up to 180grit. And it blasted thru and barely slowed down under full lean running at 80 to 90psi. It's of solid quality the air control valve for speed is brass and works well. It feels solid in construction and far nicer than others I've used even at cabinet shops and within paint booths I've been in over the past 20yrs the duration of my professional painting experience it works as good if not better than most I've used, and it was under 40bucks. Just came it the original vendor box, arrived in a couple days, with a wrench. And I think that's it. Time will tell how Long it ends up lasting but if you oil it here and there as with any air tool I think it will last quite a while. It's WAY nicer than harbor freights offering and much nicer feel in materials. It's already paid for itself today and I'll use it over my random dewalt electric orbitals for sure. I'd like to get a 5" now as well. Anyways if your on the fence don't be. For the price it punches well above that and it's cheap enough to not worry about. Although after you use it you'll probably feel it's worth more than it is. Great strong relatively quiet da for a good price.

Great product. I've owned several of these but more than triple the price. Same results and a great value are hard to find. Found it.

This tool will run all day on a 29-Gallon air compressor without causing too much cycling on/off. No problems using this tool to get the job done sanding. Minus one star because of where the adjustment valve is located (keeps getting closed by the fingertips while in use - would be better if the valve was located further away from the grip/fingertip area). The speed control works perfect with the spoon lever (once the air pressure is set at the compressor output - 40-psi seemed about right - no need for that pesky fingertip valve, at all). Overall, a very nice tool to use.

bought this as an addition to my partner's autobody shop. Hes Very pleased and can't believe the price for quality. It replaced a very expensive model and works much betterI wanted to add that he he just told me the other day, that this has replaced all his other sanders. Even his very expensive models. They do auto body repair and restoration so the guys aren't gentle. The guys told me they highly recommend it

I have used this sander about two hours so far to sand some imperfections from a paint job and it has worked flawlessly up to this point. I added some air tool oil right of the bat because I like for my air tools to last. I like the speed adjustment on the air inlet and the hook and loop is great. I would recommend it based on my experience so far.

Good da for the money. Good for the do it yourselfers. If you are prepping for paint BEWARE!! It comes to you heavily oiled. It will soak your project and cause alot of rework. Easily fixed by running hard for awhile with a rag over the exhaust before using on your project.
