How to install?
- Drill holes where you need them in the board first.
- Add the appropriate amount of glue to the holes.
- Put wooden dowel pins into the holes which can be fixed by hammering.
- Connect the two boards to complete your work.

This is a great set of dowel rods at an amazing price. They're all correctly sized, they've got a ton of strength thanks to the hardwood they're made from, and they're fluted for easy use and glue adhesion. They're incredibly strong and I'm not able to break them by hand without leverage, and they're easy to use thanks to the angled ends which make it easy to insert them into the dowel holes. For the price of just about $10, this is an excellent value for how many you get!I don't have any complaints about these dowel rods to give. The closest thing to a complaint would be that there are uneven numbers of rods, so if you need 10x40mm rods specifically you're only getting 10 in here. But that's described in the images and the description, though, so I'm not going to take any stars off the rating for that.All of the dowel rods are highly consistent with each other. I didn't find any that had any pits or holes, none of them had flat edges that shouldn't have been there, and all of them are sized within sub-millimeter precision to the right size. They're all smooth and easy to push down into the dowel holes as long as you drill to the right size, and all of the same-sized dowels look visually the same.I only review things that I personally use myself on a regular and continued basis. I always give my full, honest, unbiased and unfiltered opinion on everything I review. I will not hold back or avoid describing any issues I have with a product. I write exactly what I think about things - the good, the bad, the ugly, and the questionable. If I get multiple of something it's because I regularly use and need both of them. And, I will update my review if something breaks, stops working as intended, or otherwise doesn't hold up as expected.

This is a great little kit of dowels and the case makes a nice touch for storage. I don’t know if you are like me but I am not a woodworker per se but I do have to fix things here and there plus I have been known to build the odd shelf or table. I learned a lot growing up from my dad who had sawdust flowing in his veins. So this kit will be great to keep around the house for those tasks. The kit comes with 3/8â€, 5/16â€, and 1/4’ dowels. 150 dowels are in the 1/4†size and that is what I will mostly use so win.They all look good, they are tapered and splined so they will fit well and let the pressure from the glue out as you push them in.I am happy with it.

This is a nice set of 250 hardwood dowels in a cheap plastic case. The dowels come in several popular sizes including 1/4†wide by 1-3/16“ long, 1/4†by 1-1/2â€, 5/16“ by 1-3/16â€, 5/16†by 1-1/2â€, and 3/8†by 1-1/2â€.I’m a homeowner who works a lot with wood, but who really isn’t a skilled woodworker. I don’t need dowels on a frequent basis, but I have used them to fill holes in our heart pine flooring and in other places. These dowels will definitely come in handy for such uses. They appear to be quality dowels of consistent size and shape. They are fluted to facilitate the flow of wood glue and provide lots of surface area for better adhesion.My only complaint about the dowel set is the flimsy plastic case which arrived broken at the site of one of the two latches, rendering the case virtually useless. (Please see picture.) I guess I shouldn’t expect too much based on the price of the dowel set, but a better quality case would certainly be appreciated. I deducted one star due to the quality of the plastic case.

This is a nice set to have on hand. My husband does a lot of home repairs, remodeling and furniture building and having extra supplies is always helpful to him. He loves this set. He uses dowels frequently when making shelving or furniture and this is a nice assortment. They come in a nice plastic container marking the different sizes. He's pleased with this set.

This is a nice assortment of pins to be used for doweling wood together. I do a bit of woodworking and occasionally need to connect pieces together using dowels. This item offers five different varieties. Three thicknesses and two different lengths in the quarter inch and 5/16 inch diameters. The pins are well made. They are even without any visible knots. The box is heavy enough to use for other items after I go through the dowels either in the workshop or for fishing tackle. This kit will get a lot of use, and I'll be glad to have it on hand.

Great set to have around, I'm constantly using these for general repair or reinforcing repairs such as furniture and other odds and ends around the house. Love having these on-hand.

This is a good assortment of wood dowels for assembling wood furniture. I make live edge furniture and need wood dowels all the time.This is a good price for the amount of dowels you get.
