I used 4 bags to bring up 3 bottles of wine and 1 bottle of bourbon. I enclosed the bottles in my suitcase to JFK airport from SRQ. Got to my destination and the bottles were fine. Nothing was broken. You pump air into the bags and they cushion the bottles much better than bubble wrap. Will use again and again.

Takes a little effort to get the pump in the flap to inflate them, but they work exceptionally well for packing and shipping glass. Once inflated, they stay that way, good design.

We split our time between two homes and have a large wine collection in one place, and minimal bottles in the other.Since we aren't allowed to carry liquids onboard flights anymore, our only option is to check bottles in luggage or boxes.We were successful a couple of times with wrapping the bottles in bubble wrap, then clothing, another layer of bubble wrap then making sure that we have other items packed around the bottles.That worked well several times, until we picked up a wet and soggy box in baggage claim. Luckily it was a bottle of white (and not red) wine that had cracked, but what a mess. After that I started looking for options.These air pouches are fabulous.They pump up nice and tight - - - firm and extremely well protected. Yes, the pump itself is rather cheap and flimsy, but I didn't have a problem pumping the pouch to solid capacity.Lest there be confusion, be sure to insert the bottle into the uninflated pouch first then pump. That way, you are able to pump the pouch to the firmest capacity without worrying about struggling to insert the bottle later.As added protection, I've been slipping the bottle into a bubble wrap sleeve first (an empty Amazon bubble wrap envelope), then putting that into the pouch before pumping.Every single pouch that we've shipped (over a dozen so far) has arrived just as fully pumped and inflated as it was on the front end.This last trip was a true test, as we were completely packed then hit with a last minute change of plans. We needed to reschedule our departure date and ended up leaving about 2 months later.I didn't unpack any of the boxes, but upon arrival, each and every inflated pouch was as solid as when I packed them 2 months ago.The only downside to them, is that I wish there was a way to deflate then reinflate to use again.It feels like such a waste to dispose of perfectly inflated pouches. I guess technically, you could say that they are absolutely reusable, but that means keeping and storing them in their inflated state which takes up a bit of space.Very happy.

We love to bring these on our travels. When in other counties or areas of the US we like to try local wines and spirits and bring them home. This packs flat and we can inflate to pack in our checked bags on the way home.

Look, right now this is an out-of-the-shipping-box review. I have pumped up one bag per the product's video, and I had a nice fat bottle of Vermouth inside. Two sections simply did not inflate. Tried several times. It's as though the pressure from the "party balloon pump" that's included does not have the power to inflate every chamber.So I still had to use some cellophane tape to close the little inlet where you insert the pump for inflation. And then tape the living heck out of the area where the neck of the bottle can be found. Like I didn't trust this thing to hold still for passage in a suitcase.THIS IS AN INITIAL REVIEW, getting ready to put this bottle into my hard Samsonite case packed with other soft and hard items. I will definitely update the review upon arrival.

I use these with shipping any glass bottlesThey work great up to about 1 LDepending on the shape of bottle, you might want to put the bottle in it first and then inflate it

These bottle protectors inflated perfectly and provided excellent protection for my bottles during transit. I’m extremely satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate to order them again!
