My young children are enjoying these with their kinetic sand as well as with their playdough. The pieces are the same as pictured. They were smaller in size than I was thinking they would be but it has turned out to be a good thing for small hands. Would recommend.

The pieces are repetitive but great for kinetic sand shapes. My kids 6 & 9 love playing with them

I bought this set to use as molds for playdough, so this review is primarily about that specific use. Be aware though that these are sold as kinetics sands molds and I cannot comment on that. This set was obviously put together from different sources. Certain molds are definitely better quality than others, thus resulting in better, more detailed shapes. Also certain molds are too deep and once you push the playdough in, it is difficult to pull it out without somewhat damaging the shape. In general the animal molds are really really great for playdough use, while the object molds not as much. But you can still get a decent shape of a car, train, boat, to name a few. The size of the molds is small, but they are perfect for the home. I wouldn't take them to play with sand at the park or beach however.There are many duplicates. I believe I got at least two pieces of every single mold. That was fine with me as I created two complete sets, kept one and gave away the other. Even with duplicates the number of molds was sufficient to have a good variety.All in all, not disappointed.

I was disappointed when I opened these. First of all, the net bag was opened and they had spilled all throughout the packing box. I knew they would be small because of other reviews, but even after I put all of them back into the bag, they looked like something I'd expect to pay only a few dollars for in a big box store. I'm sure they'll do the job as Kinetic Sand molds, but I would definitely not call them a "Deluxe Sand Molds Set." Maybe if they had been packaged better, it would have made me think they were a better value. But throwing them into a mesh bag that they filled only a small percentage of, makes them look cheap.....and the cost wasn't cheap in my opinion. Sorry, I wanted to like them.

Made homemade beach sand and purchased these for the kids and it kept them busy for hours and they are still playing with them.

Bought these to go with Kinect sand for our students at school. It was their end of the year gift. There was enough variety to give our 32 students an animal to mold. The colors were nice and vibrant.

My son literally drives chunks/balls of kinetic sand around as if they were cars. I bought these for the 3 vehicles of some sort I saw in photos. At least one car, an flat car, and a van/truck of some sort.No cars were included, nothing with wheels or any of the shapes I bought it for.
