The 3 1/8" x 230' thermal receipt paper roll is our #1 Seller and the most common thermal POS (point-of-sale) printer paper roll size. Thermal paper is made with a special heat-sensitive coating that allows for inkless printing. When heat (from a thermal paper printer) is applied to the coating, the result is a sharp black image without the need for ink or ribbons.

Not much to say here. This thermal receipt paper is better than some I’ve used, worse than others. I’d consider this a middle of the road option of fairly average quality. It fed into my machine well. Printed with crisp, clear graphics, and didn’t jam. It tears easily on the cutter but is otherwise pretty durable. Buying in bulk does offer a good price however there is no shortage of this stuff out there for sale so it’s a buyer’s market. Shop around and make sure you’re getting the best value possible. It’s pretty hard to screw up thermal receipt paper so there is no real incentive to pay a premium for it.

Cheaper options are available locally…. But I was out of town and my staff needed printer paper. Showed up at the pub’s doors the following day. Happy with the purchase.
