On par with CTS brand, and works perfectly. Very good tone adjustment. This is not a pot that does nothing until halfway through the full range. It adjusts tone through the full range of the dial, from stop to stop. I had a trusted guitar repair shop install both of these pots, to replace the defective pots on an Epiphone Les Paul Pro. The factory pots tend to break, and the whole knob and shaft come out in your hand. These are MUCH higher quality all the way around. Guitar shops routinely charge $25-$30 EACH for these, and then charge you another fee to install them. Make sure a shop will let you bring your own parts, and also have them install orange drop capacitors at the same time. Your guitar will reward you with amazing tone and superior adjustability compared to factory equipment.

Unused this to split coils on Peavey EVH Wolfgang. Game changer to get that snappy single coil tone. I’m doing this in every guitar from now on.

Push/Pull Pot as expected.. Was installed in an Epiphone LP Black beauty.. which required enlargement of shaft hole in guitar. Not a problem, the shaft diameter is slightly larger than Epiphone OEM. This pot is short-shank which fits Epiphone.... Gibson LP uses a long shaft... I used this pot to provide push-pull control (middle PU in or out selection) for the midddle PU. Not a difficult modification to make to provide better output tone control than original stock 3-PU configuration.

It fit a bit deep and had to do a little tweaking but it is a quality pot

These worked perfectly for the guitar mods I did. Split coil, dual tone caps, phase switch, series/parallel, it all worked. They spin kinda loosely though but that's more of a preference type of thing. These are the go to pots I use for any type of push pull guitar mod I do. You will not be disappointed. I was told you're not supposed to solder to the top of this pot but that after I had done it about 5 times so I guess that information was false and you can heat these up pretty good without adverse effects

I bought this to split coils on my Lace Deathbucker/EMG HZ humbuckers and I gotta said it feels premium. I'm sure there are better pots out there but it was easy to solder, install and it's very smooth to rotate and pull up.

A guitar tech I had do a setup drilled out my guitar to replace a pot with the larger shaft. I wasn’t too happy when I went to upgrade to some alpha push/pull pots and found one hole bigger than the other three. I needed to find a push pull pot with the larger shaft yet still using coarse knobs. This pot did fit, and it works, sort of.They don’t match alpha pot resistance. Although it is an audio taper 500k pot, the resistance values do not seem to match the alpha pots and it does weird things on my les Paul with the selector switch in the middle. Not a problem if you use two of these to match, however, there’s another problem. The shaft going through the guitar body is quite short, but the part with the splines is too long. This leaves your knobs far away from your guitar body with no way to adjust. This is my biggest complaint. I like pots where I can adjust the knobs close to the body. There’s basically no adjustment here for height as the nut barely fits on and the knob is still far away from the body.

I have a Bass mods K524 and my pot was not working. Contacted the company they recommended I buy this one. I did it myself and within 30 minutes, my bass was good as new!!!If you have good soldering skills you can do it.
