I pretty sure this is in fact Borosilicate Glass. The glass is heavier walled than I expected, which is great. The ground joints are well enough. Expect to have about .25†of clearance between the bottom of the bottle and the bottom of the tube. I didn’t know this was shipping from China. I ordered 3 of these, and all three survived shipping somehow. My mind was blown. It arrived in about two weeks, even though there was “shipping delaysâ€. Im actually really impressed. On one the top pieces however, there is a manufacturing defect, with porosity in the 90 degree bend. Its NOT cracked, as I don’t expect mine to get very hot, I think it will work out just fine. Other than that one thing, everything actually look quite nice.
