Doesn't work well with high viscosity fluid. Purchased for use with voc cleaning fluid. Leaked. Works ok with light oil.

I had originally posted a review saying that this oil can leaked. I was immediately contacted by the manufacturer with an offer of refund or replacement with a request for a picture so they could figure out where it leaked.After further investigation I have determined that body of the oil can does not leak.This oil can has a long flexible spout and if you leave it positioned with its tip below the level of the oil in the can, it drips a little and forms a siphon and pulls more oil from the can. Leaving the spout pointed up alleviates the problem. As all lubricant containers have a tendency to be messy, I keep them in cut off soap bottles to contain any spills. With this one I’ll just cut the bottle a little higher so the edge holds the spout up.This is a nice little oil can and I like it a lot. I’m very happy to have find that it does not have a problem.

Oil cans like this are hard to find. However, when I have some leftover clean oil, I stick it in the oil can. Very handy for many uses -- better than spray or squeeze bottles.

I live in a comdo complex, lot of old people. I use it to oil the doors on the trash dumpsters, The flexible hose makes it easy to lub the top of the doors. Doors almost open them selves now,, thank you. I don't believe any oil can won't get you a little bit messy with some oil on your hands,,, but this isn't too bad.
