The push-on type connectors are easy to install but I feel cinch clamps hold better when using PEX pipe. I have had some leaks from the push-on type. I can honestly say I have never had a leak with these chinch clamps on PEX. These are made of stainless steel to insure they are strong and won’t rust. You do need a cinch or crimp tool to install these clamps but you can be assured, it won’t leak.

Did a full re-piping of the house this past weekend and used large number of crimp rings for both 3/4 and 1/2 pex. I had no problems with the rings and they crimped well the first time. I had a couple I had to remove due ty error and these removed by putting a flat screwdriver under the tab on the side and twisting it up to loosen the crimp. Very happy with them and would buy them again.
