15 volt battery produces 11 volts. Checked output after VOM did not work after this battery was installed.

This is a replacement of a 50 year old old battery from my circuit test meter that used this type of battery the issue is the original battery wae square and fit perfectly in the battery compartment this is round and slightly smaller. I had to add material to keep it from shifting. I have to say the original battery lasted 50 years, I not confident this will give me that many years of service it’s made today lol well if I’will check it at 5 years and 20 and 30 years with updates,,,,

It works…otherwise, I could not use the Bose remote control.
