I volunteer with high school kids, and we used these in our ceramics classes for wax resist, and they worked great! They don’t get as stiff and aren’t easily damaged from kids' cleaning habits.

These foam brushes are hacked to death pieces of foam. They are way too soft. Very low quality. Corners are missing so cannot achieve a sharp edge. The foam, once wet with acrylic paint, breaks down and leaves bits of foam in the area painted. The plastic inserts are so jagged that they scrape the paint. The foam in so soft that when the foam was glue to the plastic insert, the foam became distorted. The foam is so collapsed on some that they are useless. Horrible. Terrible. Would not buy again

It's so helpful to get a box of 50. There are just so many uses for good foam brushes that don't fall apart and leave little bits in the project. Very handy.
