These work great. Every year or so I buy them for my LED rope lights for Christmas time. They are snug and sturdy.

Pretty easy to use. the clips are a bit wide, so I had to wrap my lights around the prongs to get them to stay put, but otherwise really good

Look, these are a pain to put on, but that's going to be a given. Hand screwing two screws per clip, with 50 clips, takes a long time, and is super annoying, but if you want to have it done right these are the clips to get. I went back and forth between these and the ones with an adhesive back, and picked these only because I knew they would last for a lot longer than the stick-on ones. With that in mind, I knew attaching these was going to be a huge chore. And it was. But again, that was a given. I knew it going in. That said, do NOT tighten these too tight. The screw will snap the plastic clips. I use one screw instead of two for all the clips, and only used the other hold in the clip when I cracked the first one from tightening it too much. If you are placing these every 4 or 5 feet, you really don't need to use both screws as one tightened just enough will hold them in place without any twisting. The other hole can be used when the first one breaks. That cuts the work putting these on in half. That said, there's a chance these could twist, so it's up to you. But I used one hole, closest to the clip itself, and they worked just fine. I got a rhythm down putting these on, as the tiny screws and my tiny screwdriver trying to screw these into wood made my hand a bit sore after about a dozen, so I did it in stages. However, once these are all on, the rest is cake. Just push the rope light into the clip and you are done. I'd make sure the rope light fit in these clips before installing them though. I have a rope light set that was too large for these clips, and had I installed all these things only to be unable to use them would have sent me into a frenzy. However, the set I had was perfect. So first thing when you get these, make sure your rope lights fit in them. Then measure out your rope length, where you want to put it, then space out the clips. There are 50 of them, so if you put one every 3 to 5 feet you can cover a lot of ground. After all is said and done, I highly recommend these, as they look absolutely amazing when you are all done.

Over half of the brackets broke while trying to install them. Cheap junk

I would use these to hold rope LED light to my roof line. Easy to screw in and then the rope snaps in. The clips give the installation a clean and professional look.

These work really well, are great value for the price, and hold my neon tube light perfectly. They worked without any issues on MDF and plywood, but on some regular timbers, I needed to predrill as the heads of the screws we starting to round.
