Several of the lights in the hood over our stove burned out. Did some research and the hood manufactorer wanted $65 per light. These were much less and work fine.

My mother had a wax warmer and the bulb burned out. The replacement bulb she located locally was LED so it didn’t get hot enough to do the job. I bought these for her and they definitely run hot enough to melt lots of wax! It incidentally also makes a relatively bright nightlight in her kitchen, where she keeps the wax warmer unit. Highly recommended for use in instances where you want to generate both light and heat because these bulbs really do throw off a lot of heat. They also last quite a while, since she runs it continually and it hasn’t burned out yet.

I originally rated this a one star because of the burn out time. I have changed it to five stars as I have researched this and found that it's as issue with all brands. For the price, I am happy with it and will indeed buy again.Just know these do burn out rather quickly.

Better for your eyes than LED bulbs!I bough these for track lighting and they look amazing! They were really easy to install without s drill! It took me less than 10 minutes. I work from home, and I am always on my computer, so I got these to counter the nasty effects of the blue light on my eyes. The warm (sun-like) halogen lighting really makes a difference!Highly recommend!
