I purchased this backpack for 2 reasons. I love 5.11 products and the storage capability. Pockets all over this pack. Even a felt lined pocket for items (like phones) that need a little more protection. I use it every shift as an EMT for all my gear.

Nice bag, but I wish every pouch and pocket had just a little more room. Laptop, almost fits in the laptop pouch (Ruggedized Dell). Small USB battery almost fits in the top pocket. toiletry bag almost fits with a 48 hour load. Everything about this bag is almost big enough. Maybe for you it will be perfect.Seems to be well constructed.

I bought this for my 16 year old who trashes every $50 backpack every year going to school. It looks very nice and durable. I’m hoping this will last him at least 6 years or more as this was 6x the price of your normal $50 backpack.
