Bought these for caving in GA over spring break in a really wet and muddy cave and for hiking. It rained and was cold the weekend I gave em a really good workout and they exceeded my expectations. Deep traction lugs did great in the mud and rocks and shed the mud much better than other boots I have tried, giving me superior traction the whole time. Waterproofing was also great! Only time they got wet on the inside was when I waded into water higher than the top of the boots and flooded them. I was amazed how well they dried out though overnight even though I couldn’t keep them over the fire to dry them out and it was cold outside. My feet stayed warm and comfortable through miles of hiking and trekking. They are surprisingly light and comfortable for even everyday wear around town. Great boot 5.11. Sad to see that I can’t hardly find these anywhere besides Amazon.

Great quality boots that I wear daily. Very comfortable and are easy to maintain. This is my second pair of the same boot after wearing out the first pair after two years of wear.

This boot from 5.11 is so comfortable from the first time wearing them...I didn't even need to put gel soles in my boots for greater foot comfort and support. A great boot that is highly durable in the field. I've worn other boots but this tactical boot is definitely top on my list as the best I've owned. The cost is secondary compared to the satisfaction I have from wearing these boots...I have no problems at all so far and probably won't!I've worn Red Wings for years as my go to footwear but I like 5.11 tactical boots that I bought recently more so and that's saying something!

Pretty decent boots. I'd recommend buying insoles, especially if you have high arches. In my case I had to double up on high arch insoles for this boot.

Light weight comfortable and durable. Get a little flack over wearing cop boots but there worth it. I even get away with wearing them in the office.

I had saw a review discussing using the boots for hiking and there was one about the lack of comfort. I had bought them because I wanted to use them for hiking, but after wearing them for one day, I realized that the comfort review was correct. I did add some Dr Scholl's insoles that I had and that made a large difference, but the boots were still a little narrow for my feet so I returned them. For $150, you shouldn't have to add insoles for comfort.

This is the second time that I have bought boots from this brand and this type. They are absolutely worth the money. With every day extreme wear, the first pair lasted about 4 years. The quality is really good and the waterproofing is top notch. Not 1 drop of water made it through them,, and They also don't make your feet sweaty. These are the only kind that we will buy for my husband from now on. If you are looking for a product of high quality that will last years with intense wear, these are amazing.

Wasserfest und Schlamm, Sumpf, Bach und Unterholz. Griffig auf nassem waldboden und Flussbetten sowie auf Wurzeln und Geröll. Sehr sehr angenehmer Schuh und vorallem strapazierfähig wie sonst was!
