Review: Robbor 5/16 Chain Hook with Safety Latch Heavy Duty Clevis Slip Hook Grade 70 Forged Steel 14,000 Lbs Capacity Safety Latch Hook Working with Towing and ChainThe safety latch on my Warn hook has taken a some beatings over the years. I’ve had to straighten them out several times so I wanted to have a replacement on hand for when it breaks for good. These Robbor chain hooks are the same dimension as the Warn hook which was supplied with a UTV winch. The warn hook description says “For ATV/UTV winches from 2000 lb to 4000 lb capacity†so the 14,000 capacity rating on these is probably the same if not better. The Robbor hooks are $16 for two whereas the Warn hook (with strap) is $23.15 on Amazon so significant savings is you can do without the strap.
