I am using this Microwave Charcoal Filter Replacement in an LG LMV2031ST microwave. It is smaller than the original filter and therefore does not snap into place properly. I was able to hold it in place while I reinstalled the vent which is holding it in. While it should stay in place, I expected it to fit properly being a compatible filter. Otherwise, the filter seems to be made of similar quality to the original. Although the description says to replace every 3-6 month vs 6-12 for the OEM. I will try a different brand next time.

I actually didn't know that there was another filter in my microwave since it vents to the outside. I accidentally discovered this filter when the cover fell off during cleaning. Boy, was it filled with grease after 5 years of use! I got these for my LG over-the-stove microwave and they are a perfect replacement/fit. And so simple to install, just click them into place. I got this multipack (since it was the best value vs. the 1 or 2 counts available online) so I'll be able to replace the filter more often...now that I know it exists!
