replaced a standard screw clamp on my fuel line with one from this kit, and it worked great. The clamps are made of sturdy 304 stainless steel and feel durable. I used these when I installed a new fuel pump and hoses on my 1997 F250. They are much better than the common regular screw type clamps they replaced as they apply a more uniform clamping pressure around the hose. The threaded (nut) part seemed thin and I could see where it may strip out if over torqued. I applied a drop of oil to the threads and had no problem getting a good seal on the hoses. Just don't over tighten them. When I ran out of the proper size clamps for the hose I had to use, I was able to use the next smaller size clamp by opening them up a little more. They worked well. I was also impressed by the fact that they were stainless steel unlike those found in the auto parts store. They also cost less than the parts store. Very satisfied.

So I can’t really complain here because the sizes are as advertised and I should have ready the size list closer, but I personally I would have preferred some larger sizes for standard hoses such as 5/8†and 3/4†over having so many pieces for tiny thin uncommon sizes. Flow for some pneumatic applications is though.

Received this hose clamp order of 3 packs, each should have been 20 pieces in a small plastic bottle as is advertised in the picture, instead the 60 pieces of clamps were just packed together in a plastic Amazon shipping bag. No plastic bottles.By means of a magnet I could test if it was truly stainless steel 304 as advertised, but all pieces were strongly attracted to magnets.Not stainless steel.Although they are shiny, well manufactured and as they should be.Worked as expected.But I purchased them considering they are made of stainless steel and where did the plastic bottles go???Misleading advertising!!!!
