It seemed I could never get my load of wash to balance. It wasn't the load of wash being so much out of balance but the shocks or dampeners that were worn. These replaced the originals perfectly. I will admit when exercising the original dampeners they felt pretty stiff. But not as stiff as the new ones. They indeed fixed the noisy seemingly unbalanced condition to like new. These are a great buy compared to oe if they last.

We bought these shocks to replace the 18 yr Frigidaire front load washer shocks. After the first load, we noticed there was still a banging noise. After removing the panel, and starting the spin cycle, it was obvious the pins provided did not fit snugly in the bracket. After replacing the pins with the original pins, problem solved.

We moved into a "new to us" condo. The washer was a small front loader GE that was built in 2005. The washer was jumping around the floor, even with a stacked dryer on top of it! So after watching a youtube video I ordered these and now it runs so quite and smooth! Just call me if you need your shocks replaced!

On spin cycle there is visible movement on the shock retaining pin and the mounting assembly on the chassis. Loud banging occurs and can be silenced by holding a wooden spoon to the protruding/bouncing pin. It seems the manufacturer doesn't understand correct measurement tolerances. Think rod knock in your internal combustion engine. Junk!

Good fit. A bit hard to get the one pin in the hole. Washing machine is much quieter.
