When you connect flared fitting to the power steering rack, try to align the fitting up so that it goes in at the correct angle. I could not line it up correctly and the insertion angle was just not right. If the tubing were just a little more angled toward the front of the car, it seemed it would work. I pulled the hose, stuck it in my vise, and used a crescent wrench on the flats of the flared fitting to bend the tubing. Apply just enough force to bend the tubing slightly. Re-inserted the hose and it worked. Using the crescent wrench on the nut does not damage the steel hose and pipe threads. Do not even think about installing a Phillips screwdriver into the tubing opening and using it to apply bending force; you will deform the tubing flare and it will leak.

I installed this on my 2007 Honda Pilot. It was an exact OEM replacement. You will need a set of crows feet wrenches for this job. This took me about 4-5 hours and was fairly difficult but saved me about $1000 compared to taking it to a shop.

(2006 Honda Accord 2.4L)This high pressure power steering line was cheaper than the local auto parts stores or dealer and fit just like the oem did. Went on fairly easily. The free shipping came within the estimated time frame.(kinda long) but I wasn't in a hurry.

This is not an exact fit for my 2006 4 Cylinder Honda Accord, like many others had said, you need to bend both ends a little to more like the shape of the original in order to install. I didn't know that to begin with, that's why I spent a couple of hours trying to figure out why it didn't fit. I thought I ordered the wrong part, and was about to give up and return this. Then I take it out and set it aside by side with the original, and I noticed there are some discrepancy on the curvatures of the metal line. I have to bend it a few times to make it more curve like the original. I am glad I finally get it in. The price is great, the fitment no so much. I would rather they charge me a bit more but with better fitting.

The line feels quality, looks how it should. All the cramps and hoses look intact. But it's a giant turd. Please do not waste your time. I'm writing this 1 year after install and it is leaking at every joint and seam. Save yourself the hassle.

Fit as labeled. Connected to steering knuckle first, then 10mm screw nearest pump then down line near firewall so then easier to pry hose over center hole. All brackets needed included. No leaks so far. torqued as best possible,. but NPT threading so mostly had tightened to about 1/2 of threading (equal to distance and tightness of what was removed).
