Now that in my county where I live we have to either buy paper bags (which price varies per store), or bring our own bags. This is generally not an issue as I have some nice insulated tote bags for the grocery story. However, I use to use the paper bags for my recycling. It was convenient, but now not so much and if I am going to have to buy bags, I find that the ones the stores now have are of the poorest quality and do not have handles (exception is Trader Joe's - their bags are great). But, I decided to try buying the bags in bulk and having them on-hand for my needs (recycling and other storage needs). I love these bags. They are the right size, study, the handles are great as they have not broken even with a slightly heavy load (and I cannot say the same about the handles of the Trader Joe's bags). When I get close to running out, this is the bag that I will buy from now on. Great product.

Regular size grocery bags with handles- used in a church food pantry. Seem to be working okay. Large grocery stores used to donate them but many no longer use paper bags. This was best deal we could find.

i bought them for recycling and size and quality is great, but they are not that strong and tear easily. still, they are fine and the price is reasonable.

These bags tore easy. Rip at the seams., and the bottoms tore out.Not heavy items were used.Had to double bag. would have returned but needed for an event and not time to find something else.Tore even with soft items like cloth if put in bag.
