I bought these for my hobby level woodworking shop. Before I bought them I wanted a large assortment thinking I would find niche uses for each of them. As it turns out, a kit with about 1/3 of the files would have been fine. I've tried them all, but aside from very rare occurrences I find myself always going back to the same 6-8 files.Still, nice to have them all. Maybe I will eventually find good uses for each.
