I like that they fit into a 1" hole,so they are countersunk into a sheet of 3/4" plywood,vs the surface mount product.i am using these for a bed slide in my pick up truck

Nice idea but the ones I received were not a standard size. I wanted to drill a hole and pressure fit the rollers into a hidden setting. Didn’t work out.

I used these for sliding door for our shed. I used regular V-rollers or rails for the bottom and used these on both sides (2 each) near the top edge of the door so that it slides along the side wood rails. Works very well. I used 7/8 inch forstner bit to make the holes. It is a bit oversized but used epoxy. Clamped them for a day or so and it is well seated with sign of budging. I did rough up the metal casing using a file to make sure the epoxy has a good surface to hold on to.

I buy a ton of these for 3D print projects, and these are hands down the WORST. They don't hardly turn/spin at all. And compared to almost any other brand/supplier these are worthless. Money down the drain.

Some reviews complain that the diameter of the base doesn't match a commercially available drill bit. This is true. I measured the diameter of the base as 0.93". I ended up taking an older 1" spade bit and grinding a little bit from the sides until I got close to 0.93". It only took a few minutes with a Dremel to get a good friction fit. I would have preferred to use a Forstner bit to produce cleaner holes but you gotta do what you gotta do.
