The Boltigen In-Line Shut Off Valve is for 5/8″ Heater Hose and is used to stop the flow of coolant from going through your heater core during months where the heater is not being used. The shut-off valve is typically only used in applications where the heater is mounted inside the cab.
Fits a 5/8″ heater hose.

The need is to stop hot water flow to my heater core on a 40 year old Landcruiser. While I had even replaced the factory temperature control valve, some flow was still present. This is positive shutoff for the summer months.

If you’re going to include clamps, make sure they are the right size. The hose clamps were undersized and the little screwdriver was cheaply made. The valves themselves are ok, with no leakage. They operate in the open and close position just fine.

Installed this on my 34 Ford Coupe, and it has performed flawlessly. It doesn't leak through like the old one I had. Well worth the money!

Do not buy this product. The picture shows 2x brass valves, but is only 1 in the box. This is a clickbait photo, bad bad !!
