This was a little thicker than some of the comparable offerings. It works perfectly. I put it on the inside of my truck hood because it was getting hot and causing buildup when we went through the car wash. Now the top of the hood doesn’t get hot at all.

I used this to insulate underneath carpet in a car. It is thick and did the job really well. I recommend!

Purchased to eliminate the cold floor in my RV. Works great, as well as providing a softer floor. I covered it with a tshirt rug that I made to protect the foiled top. Will be purchasing more to line storage areas.

Doesn’t reduce noise at all…my intent is using it to reduce highway / traffic noise outside of my bedroom. I applied it outside of my window thoroughly but barely felt any differences inside the room. After a few nights, I tried to check the seal and make sure it’s tightly closed the gaps. After some adjustments, still, didn’t feel any reduction…very disappointed

This foil backed insulation seems to be OK, the adhesive isn’t the greatest, and I ended up using a spray on 3M adhesive also in conjunction with the adhesive already on it

Used it for insulation in my plane. Coupled with the 1/8†abs backer i put in behind my new upholstery, it actually made a significant difference

When you put it , you are done no way to get it off, if you take it off. You have to clean your work area again.
