We live in a golf cart community but driving at night is somewhat dangerous in an older cart like ours - a1994 Yamaha G2. So I installed these LED lights on the top of my cart to make sure other drivers will see me. They are very bright and the price is exceedingly reasonable.

I have used several reels now and other than the chips being very point source, I like them a lot. The silicon is laid down well and the tape is pretty good if you only stick it once.The point source issue for me is not the fault of the manufacture or sell of the strip, it is just how the LEDs themselves are made. I wish they had a diffuser dome on them, but they don't. From a distance the diffuser is not really an issue, only within about 10' or so.I recommend them

The closeness of the lights, the brightness, and the relative protection of the gel layer over them are all great plusses (plus the black strip color instead of the near universal white).I can't speak to the adhesion as I glued them in place anyways (used these in an infinity mirror).I took off one star because they don't come with a power supply, which I either didn't pay close enough attention, or they don't draw enough notice to this fact. I happened to have a spare on hand but wasn't happy at this fact.

They work but the adhesive tape is impossible to use so if you need them to stick anywhere go pick other brand…

Just wondering if X003CG1GFD are "Warm White" or if I was sent the wrong lights - because I'd call them normal white. They arent cool white, which is how I'd characterize the other "white" color offered by this seller (X003CG8ZL1). And the adhesion doesnt stick to lacquered wood shelves - we ahd to use our own glue.
