I’m using my booties for cold dipping and they are amazing. They keep my feet warm and safe from pokey rocks.

I bought these water socks to use for surfing instead of spending the money on a decent pair of booties. They’ve kept my feet fairly warm, but they’re of poor quality and the neoprene is already beginning to weaken and fragment inside the lining after a few weeks of use. And being that they are only socks, they lack enough protection on the soles, and so they wear out quickly on the bottom. I bought them two sizes smaller than my shoe size to get a snug enough fit, as anything larger would have been baggy and taken on water, interfering with standing on a surfboard and not keeping feet warm.Do yourself a favor and buy a real pair of booties before buying these if surfing is what you’re doing in them.

It actually keeps the water out. Love it.

From a material and overall quality standpoint, these are good neoprene socks. The issue that I'm encountering is that the sizing is odd. Large is equivalent to an 8 - 8.5, while the XL is equivalent to 9.5 to 10. Unfortunately, I'm a 9 so I ordered the XL, thinking it would be best to size up, but the XL is too large.Additionally, the size chart in the product listing is EXTREMELY difficult to read. If the seller is reading this, please make it easier to see the size chart by removing the background photo from it.Bottom line: aside from the size issue, these are pretty good quality neoprene socks. They do a good job of protecting your feet from hot sand, and the rubbing of your fin straps which may cause blisters.
