My old fingers had a hard time gripping those tiny little connectors rc cars came with, so I got these "man sized" connectors that fixed the problem. Yeah it's like putting a V8 in a go kart, but I can now enjoy driving my MT-10 without the dred of having to get out tools to disconnect the battery connector.

These are genuine Amass connectors. Soldering XT90 connectors is difficult due to their thermal mass and that of the larger gauge wires that are usually used. I would recommend atleast an 80W iron for these. The metal connectors can pull out of the plug if they get too hot while soldering. Try to avoid keeping the heat on them for too long, and you can also connect the connector's pair to increase heat dissipation.These are a great value and should be used over xt60 on any 1:10 scale 4wd vehicles or larger.

These plugs are intuitive to install and use. This time and these plugs were my first opportunity to work with the XT90 plug. The molded nylon composite body is resistant to damage from soldering. I soldered at 480°C with a digital rework station, each joint required around 30 seconds of heating to flow due to the large connector pins sinking heat. They finish well with or without heat shrink. The cover snaps into place securely and has a clean looking taper. The male-female plug has a firm fit requiring 10 - 15 lbs of force to separate. I have used these to replace deans on 3s packs for my spot welder and a Y for parallel use. Also a installed between a 1000w hid metal vaper light and the digital ballast. It's handling 10A peak and 6A-8A sustained and I have not observed any heating. They have that premium look and feel I appreciate. I believe these are going to prove to be durable and outlast most anything I use them for. I always update reviews if anything changes, so no news is good news.
