Disclaimer: I am just working on some projects for my private enjoyment. I do not have the environment to test the limits of this item.I would feel confident to install this adapter where I can monitor that it is tight. I would leave e.g. natural gas to professionals.The 3/4 male NPT thread and the 1/4 female NPT thread are compatible with the NPT standard. The 304 steel leaves a solid impression and there are no sharp edges.I like that there is a section with a hex nut to tighten the adapter properly.It also comes with a little bit of Teflon tape to assist in making the connection airtight.

Clean, light weight stainless steel. Edges and threads however are a bit rough with sharp edges. Needs a little filing or burring of crude areas to get smooth surfaces or at least to get a smoother screw in with matting pieces. Tape was thinner than I like so just used my own. All worked well, they are good reducers. Pleased with product. -1 star for rough edges & threads but if not for that it would have been five.

Very nice stainless plug. This fit perfectly in my aux diesel tank for plumbing in an aux pump kit. Threads were all nice with no burring or sharp edges. Sealed nicely using fuel safe sealant.

These bushings seem to be of high quality. The thread size is cut exactly to 1" NPT and screw in easily. The fittings are marked with the size and grade of Stainless (304) on the face. The pack of five is a great value for the money. These are highly functional for reducing the size from 1" Male NPT to 1/2" Female NPT.

Nice set of 304 stainless steel reducing bushings. I needed the 1.5” to 1” reduction, which is a fairly common need for home pressure pumps. I like that these are stainless and should allow for future removal without rusting in place to the pump. Threads were nicely formed with a few knicks from knocking around during shipping. The fittings come with some sealing tape, but I recommend using a name brand tape for the job to make sure you are getting a decent thickness for the Teflon-type tape seal. Overall, I’m very happy with these stainless bushings.

These are good reducers.The threads are clean.They are stainless so they wont rust EVERAnd they cone with teflon tape. I never put anything together without teflon tape.I didn't need 10 of them but it's always good to have fittings on the shelfGreat item

I recently decided to start learning how to use an airbrush, but I already have a 26 gallon air compressor, so I wanted to use it instead of buying a dedicated airbrush compressor. In order to do that I needed to reduce the line size. These reducers helped to make that happen, and they didn't reduce the funds in my pocket either. Buying several of them wasn't much different than buying just one, and it's always nice to have extras just in case. After inspecting each of them, they are all in perfect condition. They're all the correct size, and I believe they will last a very long time.
