I had to replace the thermostat in my deep freeze. The light is tied into the thermostat wiring so it was easy to replace. The 8mm fit inside the hole of the original light. Much brighter than the original. Definitely recommend!

Bright even at the lower voltage of 120VAC.Can be seen from the side (90 degrees).I replaced one in 3/8" hole and did not need washers.Would recommend!

I got this set of 8 LEDs in order to make a "night light" for my room light wall switch. For $10 you get 2 each of Red, Blue, Green and White color LEDs. Each LED comes in a plastic housing and the package includes 8 gaskets and 8 plastic mounting nuts. The LEDs have a built-in dropping resistor and the wires are pre-stripped, so they are ready to use right out of the package. Also since this is wired to AC, you don't need to worry about polarity, the LEDs light up which wire (red or blue) is connected to Hot (with the other wire connected to Neutral). For my application, the blue LED was too bright (it lit up the room at night when shining thru the light switch face plate), so I dimmed it down by covering the LED with some blue painter's tape. For about $1.25 each, you can't go wrong with these handy LEDs.

Like the lights but wanted to use as an under glow on a sled and did not produce the light I wanted so just saving them for other projects .

Ich habe die Teile in einem Sidebord hinter dem Bett meines Sohnes angebracht. Mit einem Drucktaster kann er sich diese bei Bedarf an und aus schalten. Sie haben ein schön warmes Licht. Mit einem 12 Volt Trafo bleiben sie im Betrieb auch kalt. Gute Dinger die ich wieder kaufen würde.
