The first time I tried these, it was a big fail! They popped open and spilled all over the place. So I looked up techniques on YouTube and learned that you have to hot glue them closed,so there’s a seal. I tried it, and it worked great.plus the hot glue pulled right off the mold, without damaging it.

Way smaller than I thought but still nice molds

You need some sort of syringe or eyedropper in order to fill the two smallest ones. The holes are too small to pour through. While the molds don't leak enough to make a mess, they do leave rings around the spheres.

Molds come apart non stop and leak resin. Wasting time and money. Don't recommend

For me, the 3 bigger ones were easy to put together. After I did my pour, when I went to take them out of the mold, there was a small amount of resin that was coming out from the seam of the mold. The 2 smaller ones would not stay together. I tried several times to no avail. Also the holes on the top, where you pour the resin or wax in, is very tiny on the smaller ones. I used a hole punch to enlarge them.

So easy to use when doing a resin project and clean up nicely.

I haven’t been in the casting game too long but I can say out of multiple sets of round or orb shaped molds I have bought these are the best in every which way. They pop closed kind of for a good seal to prevent leakage. I do still run some tape around them just bc I am paranoid but I have yet to find where it popped open. And if your using UV resin it will let the light right through to cure. Quite impressed

All pieces were in the package, arrived early! The sizes are great for different uses resin will remote with ease from the mold and it seals correctly, it allows light to pass thru for UV which is they type of resin I used in it worked great!

I like the concept of these except they leave a seam in the resin where the 2 halves join. Had to sand and apply more epoxy. Also, can't do much inside because the hole is small. Wanted these to make orgonite spheres but they're just not worth the effort, sadly...

Although I gave this a 4 star...it took me a while to figure out how to really use these. They pop apart very easily. The trick I found is to keep your fingers on the top to keep them from popping... I bought a plastic ketchup holder from the dollar store to put my epoxy into and then the little knob of the bottle fits better into the hole of the sphere. Make sure you keep a little air circulation and don't completely plug the hole or it will burst out the sides. Can't find a way to keep the bubbles down as heat makes the epoxy adhere to the silicone....and no matter how good your pour is...there is a line of where the mold connects. But overall I like them.

2 piece moulds are not ideal, they leaked when filled with resin so had to keep topping up.
