Works very well. I used the white 120 grit on a cylinder head job and it’s non abrasive. It does leave a light film from the material it’s made out of on some spots, but brake clean and a microfiber cloth it comes right off and looks great. Definitely worth the purchase.

For the cost they work well. They really work best with a higher rpm tool. In my drill they work ok but put it in the angle grinder and they become amazing

These will not last about 5-10 minutes. I bought these cause I can get them the next day delivery. In hurry to finish up putting a motor back together. I don’t recommend at all I used all different grits they are all the same. Next time will buy the 3m brand again and just wait for them.

To start off, I bought the pack of six and was only sent three pieces so I paid twice the advertised price. They might work well in places where the operator has room to work but I was trying to get the remnants of a water pump gasket, and glue off of an aluminum casting that was still attached to my engine which was still in my truck. The casting still had three studs sticking out past the mating surface. If you have a situation like mine, I wouldn't recommend this product. When the bristles "fanned out" during rotation, they hit the studs and came off. After trying several other means to clean the surface where the gasket was to go, I found that, using my die grinder (using reduced air pressure), a 180 grit, 1" sanding disc, attached to a "mushroom shaped" rubber support, followed by a 1" 320 grit impregnated fibrous conditioning disc, did a fine job. I want to add that the gasket was removed way faster than the glue.My vehicle is a 2000 Ford F150 and I'm pretty sure I replaced the original water pump. So yeah after 23 years I imagine the glue had set-up pretty good.

I used it to clean off the gasket residue from a Mercedes intake manifold I was rebuilding. The product worked very slow, but I was glad. Mercedes uses a special adhesive compound to seal and form a high-temp and inert-to-chemicals gasket that leaves a tough residue. The discs removed most without damaging the aluminum alloy. I removed the remainder using a very sharp blade at a very steep angle close to the surface. I believe this product will work a bit faster on removing felt/paper gasket (more common) residue or other softer coatings from aluminum and hard plastic surfaces.

I've used Scotch bristle discs and they work very well. These, not so much.
