I used these for the extra small mounting holes on my Kohler, San Rafael - 3466, 3467, 3384 model.They are easy to install and prevent this one piece toilet from leaking. I don’t know how long they will last, but I have three pair, so I can replace the first set in a few years. If they’re anything like the toilet flap, they won’t last more than five or six years. I guess we will see, but I will keep the other pair handy for when the time comes.What I had to do to mount the seat that I wanted though was I had to alter the mounting plastic screws that came with the seat so that I only kept the head. Then I drilled a hole through it to mount to these rubber inserts. I’m quite proud of it, it works well, I understand not everybody is as industrious as I am, but it’s what I had to do and now I can choose the seat that I want on this one piece Kohler

This little part is used as a blind toilet set fastener. In my case, the original anchor broke and had to be forcibly removed, leaving an empty hole with no screw threads. Finding a suitable anchor at the hardware store was impossible. These anchors saved the need to replace the entire toilet.

K-85040, K-84999 are the original Kohler parts. The soft aluminum expansion originals are outrageously expensive and they are not as good as these simple 3/8" rubber well nuts. The original Kohler design is very poor, short lived, and expensive. Just use these proper 3/8" well nuts at a fraction of the scalped price. These will last at least as long as the shameful originals. And you won't need those Kohler special tools to install these. PS. I have learned that Home Depot 10-32 x 1 1/!6 expansion nut part #597 831 also works.

These toliet seat screw fixings worked perfectly in replacing kohler part # 84999. It took no more than a minute to install and my toliet seat is not lose or moving out of place at all. I highly recommend this product. I have previously tried the kohler metal screw anchors as well as plastic ones for my non-standard ridiculously designed Kohler Toliet. There are many replacement options because most of the anchors out there are too big. Replacing the the toliet seat screws has heen an absolute nightmare until I purched this product.Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for making these!

My Kohler toilet lid has been broken for years. Due to it being a top mount with a riveted nut I couldn’t find anything to fix it, until now. This arrived quickly and worked PERFECTLY. It actually holds my toilet seat better than the remaining Original nutsert

Do not buy the metal ones. They are too easy to break during install. Make sure to lube the threads with silicone before installing.
