I used these to keep the drawers of a dresser shut so that my two-year-old could not open during the middle of the night and climb.They served their purpose successfully and overall happy with this product.A few key notes to consider as you purchase:when I initially installed them on the drawers, they were somewhat under tension (pulling force) as I did it really, really tight and the adhesive does seem to fail overtime when installed in this manner. They need to be installed with no force or tension the adhesive pads. The initial set I put on my daughter’s drawers all pulled off fairly easily when installed in this manner after a day or week - but once I did it slightly loose, they stuck on excellent. This is same for my freezer like another review, I put one on the freezer in hopes that it would keep a bad door shut, but because the door was trying to force itself open eventually the adhesive always fails and the thing pops off.

I have these on my cabinets, my refrigerator and freezer and towards the top of my bathroom doors.My children (ages 1 & 3) are unable to open these locks which makes my day a little easier without worrying if they can get into them or not.Very easy to use, 2 adhesive sticky pads each side. I'd advice sticking them on at night before bed and using them the following morning. Also wipe down any surface you want to apply it on with rubbing alcohol. I have had my children pull on them and they have not budged.Very happy with this product.

They'll confuse your guests but adding one of these bad boys solved the problem of my freezer door popping open every time I close my fridge. Very easy install. Preferable to fighting with one's landlord. Seem to be very durable and functional.

I bought these May 8th, 2024, I installed one on my freezer door. the Purpose was to help hold the door more securely shut because the seal is getting inflexible.It works great for that purpose. When I installed it, I cleaned both areas where it would adhere with 91% isopropyl alcohol and made sure it was completely clean and completely dry.I put the release side on first, I peeled off the liner for the adhesive and pressed it onto the side of the freezer and I let it cure for 24 hours without being under any stress or pressure.The next day, I measured and placed the second part with it's adhesive on the door of the freezer.. I did not engage the latch, I just let the adhesive stick and cure to the surface for another full 24 hours.Afterward, assembled the latch to be taut and locked it.I am really happy with how well it holds and how easy it is to unlatch one handed. Sometimes it won't close back unless I use two hands to fully pull the spring back so it can catch.Today, June 24th, 2024, exactly 45 days after installing, the factory adhesive just popped off on its own.So, I basically can expect these to last only 45 days under casual use. I am the only one accessing this freezer and I use it at least once a day, maybe up to 3-4 times a day. The latch itself is easy and uncomplicated. It is not being pulled on by children or pets, so it is not under constant strain or stress as it is intended. to be used I am disappointed the adhesive only lasted 1 ½ months.I re-stuck the adhesive today and will see how long before it pops off again. I suppose I could use another factory adhesive pad, but I may as well just use some E6000 for all the good the adhesive pad does if it pops after only 45 days of casual use. I'm still glad I got it, despite the adhesion issue.

My children and grandchildren, in the past, have slammed the outside refrigerator and freezer doors; the doors did not close several times and I lost so much food in my huge freezer, as well as my refrigerator. So, I put these on my doors so that my friends and relatives will have to unlock the strap before opening it and will REMEMBER to lock the strap back on. I haven't had a problem since I did this. The door on one of my freezers leaks (even though I have replaced the gaskets twice). So, I added more of this product wherever the gasket is loose and now I don't have a problem. A couple of the locks on my freezer door did not stick very well, so I used super glue to attach them firmly to my freezer and I didn't have a problem after that.

I have these in several spots for childproofing and I find them to be very hot or miss. They are somewhat fragile and when they fail a small metal spring comes flying out. Dangerous if your baby manages to break it themselves. Some of them have had no issues and others have broken after a day.

These are great for my small freezer for when I fill it up and it doesn’t have room inside for the door to compress/ vacuum the air to seal it. Easy to apply and work well.

Doesn’t work well on toilets. Fell off after just a few weeks. Easy to install, but hard to readjust length because the clip for adjusting the length is hard to close.
