Be sure to notice they expand two different ways by turning the one metal piece around. I did not remember that at first and was returning but then saw I was doing it wrong.

Advertised to be 3.5" wide. Product is only 2.5" wide.This is the second order with the same issue. Suggest inventory is all incorrect and has not been corrected.

I was able to easily adjust these hooks to the right width for my cubicle wall. They are sturdy enough to hold a bit of weight but unfortunately, the hooks on the end are quite small. About all that will fit in the small hook properly would be a small wire so hanging a picture frame that's on a wire would work. The issue then though is that hangers aren't particularly long either and for my high cubicle walls, I'd want a picture to be hung lower so it doesn't help me much there either.I had intended to hang a couple of different items like a jacket, some lanyards I've collected, and other things like that. This hook doesn't really work for any of those. I needs to be something very narrow and shallow due to the hook size.For what it is, they are fine. A single screw to adjust to the width of your cubicle wall. Sturdy enough to hold some weight. I feel the current dimensions considerably reduce the usability though. If it went further down the wall, you could more easily hold pictures. If the hook were wider, you could hold purses, coats, and such.
