I was looking for a safety hammer that had enough weight to be used break my glass if needed or even for self defense given how many road rage incidents I am seeing. The Loymr car safety hammer has the weight I was looking for and is easy to use for everyone who may be within the car. I have it located in an easy to retrieve location. Did not use the mounting tool because there was no good place to mount in my vehicles without it snagging on my pants or getting in the way. However, the mount is very sturdy, but you need to be able to pull the hammer from the top to disengage from the mount. Hard to pull away from the mount by just grabbing the handle. The hammer is also very sturdy and designed to cut the seat belt harness and break the glass. Very nice.

I just got into a head on collision two days ago. I was barged into head out by a car that spun out of control. I got hit, airbag deployed, then slammed into an embankment. I couldn’t open my door and I smelled smoke. Wasting no time, I opened my glove compartment and broke my window with ease, climbed out and called 911. I need a new car but this is coming with me every time.

A safety feature every car should have. Two for the price of one, and comes with a holder to mount almost anywhere. They are small but sturdy, a tool you hopefully will never have to use, and at worst have to use just once.

Item was asked advertised and was received quickly. Recommend storing the tool in the vehicle without the case as it is difficult to remove requiring a few seconds which would be problematic in an actual emergency situation.
