My daughter loves these containers to use for snacks and lunches for her kids. They are easy to put in the dishwasher and the divided areas are perfect. They are not water tight or air tight, but they don't need to me for her use. I worry about the durability since 2 of the lids cam cracked in the package. I paid $11.99 for the set and 2 of the containers weren't usable because of the broken lids. The colors are cute and the size is perfect for the kids lunches. Overall I would say that these are good and inexpensive, but know that you aren't buying something that will last you many years.

Now, if you have kids you really need these! These are the perfect size for kids snacks. And there are 2 different kinds that you get when you order the set of 6. One kind has the two small sections and one larger section and the other has all four small sections. I am surprised that the lids fit on there nice and tight, and there's a protruding corner on the lids so that it's easy to take it off, even for young kids. I was not concerned with checking to see if they're leak proof or not, I doubt that these Bento snack trays are going to be slung around like that. If you fill up all of them it's a lot lot more than one small child would eat at a sitting, but my thinking is to load one up for each kid with the four snack items in there you want them to eat, And each day it's snack time pull it out of the fridge.There are two each of four different colors, So kids will know which color is their snack tray (hopefully you don't have more than four kids). And they can each keep eating out of their own snack tray every day until it's empty and then they ask Mom for a refill. If your kids know how to self-monitor their food, this is a good system. Some kids are like cats and dogs, some of them know how to self-monitor their food and others just don't so you have to parcel it out to those pets and children so they don't become too huge before their time. For kids, especially the little ones, a winning snack combination is cheese cubes, grapes, apple slices and goldfish crackers. If you're filling one up for the husb in case he gets hungry but you're not home to serve him (wow! Are there still men like that in existence?) you could do ranch dip in one section, in a big double section put broccoli and cauliflower, the last section put leftover chicken winglets from the night before. I believe in half healthy and half not healthy. Cuz nobody wants to open up a tray and see only healthy junk in there. Kids especially don't want to see that, but if you put a good variety in there they're okay with a couple of healthy options.

These bento boxes make snacking on the go so much easier. Prepping healthy snacks ahead of time keeps everything organized and helps me stay on track. These containers are nice enough but the separations, it seems cause more problems than they solve."Well I wanted to give you more...""I tried using these but then this or that compartment was not big enough so I went with the tried and true one compartment ones."I have heard variations of the above multiple times. So, I see them often in the cupboard, all 6 of them. We will see if this will pick up in the spring but for now, I am disappointed. But that is just us, others I am sure think they are just great!Haven't used them enough to know whether they even do their job!

This is great for packing small snacks to eat between meals. It's not meant to hold a large amount by any means but does the job. I have not have any issues with the lids coming off and the material seems to be of good quality. The colors are as described.
