These things work perfectly. Very easy to install and won’t scratch your paint. I was able to strap down our roof top bag very tight and had zero issues. Used them on a 1500 mile round trip with no issues. Also went through a bunch of rain and didn’t have any leaks.

Currently, on sale for $9.99 (down from $14.99), these straps can be used as primary or secondary straps to secure your roof carrier.We needed to secure items for college and it was mostly highway driving. I wanted a little more coverage than the carrier allowed due to the highway speeds. We didn't want the carrier to blow off in part or completely. It worked.My only complaint is how they hook on to your vehicle. My vehicle wouldn't allow us to pull down the "seal", so we had to finagle it and simply close them in the door. It all worked out.I do recommend these, but you may have to find a work around to get the job done.

In order to use the cartop carrier for the Camry (instead of the van) I was going to have to buy bars for a LOT of money, or these. These were easy to install, worked great for 90 minute drive. And since the package had 6, we have 2 extras for if/when they get lost or ???

Worked great for our 5 hour round-trip drive with our CRV. Has 6 straps and we only needed 4, so we have an extra 2 as backups. The straps were long so we had extra wiggle room once we tightened them around our rooftop cargo bag.
