I have a couple of large bookcases and I wanted something to secure them. I had recently moved and the anchors they came with got lost in the move. These arrived quickly and were easy to install. I think my shelves are now much more secure and less likely to fall and potentially hurt someone.

Bought these to hold my wine rack/knickknock unit against the wall after one of my dogs got his collar caught on the handles to the storage unit at the base. Managed to pull the whole unit almost 6 inches from the wall.

So I put this on my garage shelf, and I secured two of them, and a slightly moved shelf, and it just popped off like nothing not sure if I can even trust it to hold the shelf down from falling down…

Easy to install and holds up a flimsy dresser that I have in our son's room. I feel better knowing it's not going to drop on him.

I have purchased other products inntbrboast that were straps to keep furniture from being tipped over. I can say without a doubt that these units were easier to install, easier to adjust, easier to remove when required and far less obvious as the thin metal wires are loss visible then thick straps.If I need more furniture secured, I will stick to these cable type retention units as they are superior in my opinion. I am of course unable to speak to the strength of the metal cables over the strap versions, but because it is so much easier to adjust the metal cables, I am able to make them a lot tighter which means the furniture they are securing shoukd be harder to move from their static position.Less motion means less force on the retainers. So I think these will hold just fine.

Fits fairly flush so you can get close to the wall. I liked the cable that screws together making it easier to install and remove
