This was ordered for a Friend who saw the other one that I purchased for my Mercury 200 it's larger than what I need but it covers the entire Motor from top to the bottom!!

got for a 20hp Mariner outboard motor long shaft. it is on the big side but used a packing blanket to cover the outboard and then the cover. looks nice and made well. the only thing I would like is the zipper to up underneath the outboard along with the straps.

As recommended, I ordered the cover, one size larger than what is listed for my motor which is a 90 hp Mercury. Strongly recommend basing the size on actual measurements and not on the horsepower.It fits over the motor cowling very well. It’s a little long on the bottom at the prop which is OK with me. I like the two adjustable straps and the zipper which provides a snug and secure fit. I like the reflective strips and the overall look of the cover which goes well with my boat cover. An unexpected bonus is the tote bag for storing the cover when not on the motor.

I previously had suzuki engine cowling only covers that are expensive and do not last long. I re-sewed the suzuki cover seams with waterproof thread and that extended the life for another decade. However, I like this set of full engine to prop covers to fully protect from the weather, sunlight and help prevent dirt dobbers from clogging the water coolant exits. This set has 2 straps, an elastic draw string that requires tying, and a zipper to help ensure it fits snug.As the title states, the suzuki in line 4 stroke engines pictured have 25†shafts. If you have a large V block, I’d suggest upsizing based on other reviews.The Johnson 140 4 stroke is the same (really a suzuki engine as Johnson never made a 4 stroke)(aka Johnsukies)I don’t trailer with the covers, but they appear as if they could handle it.This cover includes a mesh bag that I will never use with the covers, but maybe for scallops or snorkel gear. It also includes a strap for when it’s off and rolled up similar to a sleeping bag strap. I will use them for some other purpose too.

Fit my 25 hp mercury. But after a rain there was water at the bottom of the cover, had to ensure it is open, don’t want to have water in there over the winter.

Where to start, nice looking cover but that's all it is...nice to look at. We sized our cover correctly (measured the circumference and length of our motor (Mercury 115 ProXS) and the unit that arrived from Amazon fit. It was a little larger than our motor but we assumed that the attached straps would permit us to take up the slack. We fastened all the clips, took up all the slack and off we went for a weekend of fishing. That's correct...one trip with this cover; in fact, it was less than one trip as before we made it out of our town, straps were already flailing around as they pulled completely away from the seam! This is a TRAVEL COVER for your outboard motor...if it can't be left on for trailering, it isn't much good. You can see by the photos that not only did the straps get pulled from their seams, the buckles also slid off the straps leaving the cover to droop/sag and wear a hole in the bottom of the cover (below the prop). All this happened a mere 10 km's from our house...in good weather! If we had been passing through a storm, I believe this cover would have been ripped off the motor completely and lost somewhere on our trip? To make matters worse, Amazon cannot process a refund for this product so I had to take an Amazon gift card?? Another sore note as I have to now spend money on a different motor cover (NOT FROM AMAZON). It's time for me to take stock on the quality and honesty of vendors selling on Amazon. If I had purchased this cover from a store, I would have returned it for a full refund! Buyers beware...you have been warned!

Cheap cover. Sizing way off. Hard to order correct sizing when the options to order are all screwy.
