This is advertised as a candy bowl but box read sugar bowl. I gave as a gift for someone’s new home. It’s a substantial bowl and very pretty. I especially like the lid since the people have a puppy. Nice size and very good value.

Why is it that glass stuff always arrive in beat up boxes, weird. Anyway, this is a very very nice covered candy dish for my sideboard. It is much nicer than it looks in the picture. Glass is heavy too. And the shipping box was beaten up as well the item box itself. Somehow the dish and lid were not broken. Oh, forgot to mention, it is oblong not round. Which I like better.
