I use these discs on my Dremel D4000. They have been working great for me and I typically use them for cutting metal. The dremel brand discs are very expensive compared to these and don't usually come with extra disc holder bits. This pack comes with 4 disc holders which is really nice since I have a few different tool kits I like to spread them out between. As for durability, these aren't the most durable discs I've used, but they are far from the worst. The name brand discs definitely last a bit longer than these but even if you use 3 of these instead of 1 name brand disc, you're still saving money. I haven't had any of these discs shatter on me yet either. They are made of a fiber like material so I think that helps hold them together better.Overall, I think the value of these discs is great. They are good at cutting metal and work with the Dremel D4000. They are also significantly cheaper than Dremel brand discs and work almost as well. You get 4 bits with this set too which is awesome. 10/10 highly recommend these. If you had to only buy one pack of cutoff discs for your dremel, this is it.

I have only tried 2 discs. the holes were off center in both. both discs did not spin flat, so they cut a wide slot. I got a slight improvement by facing the arbor in a lathe, but the surface of the disc near the center is so irregular that it does not seat well. I will try making a cupped washer to address that problem. I cut off a piece of hardened steel and it took much longer than expected. when I finished, the edge of the disc felt smooth, like there wasn't enough abrasive powder in the mix. They do work, but not very well.
