365nm UV light
Purple light can not only see the anti-counterfeiting, but also see the color, internal structure, texture and stone pattern. The real natural jadeite has no fluorescent reaction. The fake jadeite has a lot of resin-like chemicals inside the jadeite, which will be fluorescent under the light of the violet lamp.
This is the use of 365nm violet light, this wavelength of violet light emitted by the naked eye to see is no purple, so it is good to distinguish the fluorescent reaction.

When received used on table and wrote evaluation. I was wrong I say it still isn’t 60x BUT when took to grow room and used. It works beautifully for what I bought it for. I could tell easily trichome clear white or amber individually. Not saying better than the high tech stuff BUT used as a loupe In field it is awesome and my on off switch works fine… I am aware so I’m kinda easy with it.

The button... switching on off the light is a nightmare. It works about 30% of the time. Its not a mechanical switch, its electric. Nice idea, but I'm shocked that someone tested this unit, and approved that design. Otherwise it works good. Clarity is good, light is sufficiently bright. I use this for key impressioning and it is certainly helpful.

Doesn’t switch light modes or turn off or on without being plugged in. Thought maybe it was just dead so I plugged it in for a few hours. But still doesn’t work.

not sure what the IR light is for but the white light works great. if you need more magnification you just need to pick it up off the surface a little bit and it makes the object huge and easy to read. Definitely, not for reading large amounts of text but perfect for small spot magnification.

This handheld lens is 30x magnification, not 60x. The lens is more suited for detecting spider mites than it is for checking trichome color. Lens is nice and wide, the light works great. The product does not magnify enough to accurately see trichome color variations, which is essential information for judging ripeness of the plant.

Very good for the price. I’ve had no problems at all. It is very helpful to see the subtleties in the rocks I use it to view.

It does what it’s supposed to. The button is a little non responsive at times, but overall a good product.
