Got these #6-32 x 3/8" Pan Head screws in black for a guitar build I'm working on: they fit perfectly into an Oak Grigsby 5-way switch AND they're a little longer than the normal 5-way switch screws since this switch is mounted in the body of the guitar (thicker than just going through a pickguard). That they're stainless steel beneath the black is an added bonus: I don't think it's necessary for the 5-way switch, but the extra strength doesn't hurt.I didn't need 100, but it's still about the same price as if you bought only 2 from a guitar-specific vendor selling similar screws. Plus now I have extras for friends, other musicians, and future builds.

There's only so much to review about screws, but I'll give it a go. First off, most of the black screws I've had weren't BLACK. Most have been more of a dark gray or mottled black. These are a true black and have a nice clean finish. The threads are all clean and the philips head is well molded.

These screws are exactly the length and size I needed. However, they feel too lightweight compared to my others. I worry if they could snap easier or get stripped out easier. They are good for now, and will be used! 4/5 stars
